This is Wesson and here is his story.
Per the owner's words, Wesson is four years old, however even she says he looks much older. He has lived on a chain which is padlocked to his neck and the other end to a tree.
The living conditions for this boy are as shown. No water or food, living in filth with no way to escape it.
A Fedx driver alerted us to Wesson's plight. He has passed him during deliveries and watched his suffering. The dead look in his eyes says it all. This boy needed help and this kind man made the decision to make a difference in an animal's life.
Wesson's owners have agreed to owner surrender him to us. They realize he needs more that they can give him. He will be coming to Wolf Run soon.
In the meantime, it is our goal to give Wesson the best life possible. It's the least we can do for him. The fundraising efforts are in full swing so that we can have a habitat built where he can run freely, play with other wolf hybrids, and enjoy the good life.
Giving Tuesday Matching Funds is a way to help us get ahead of this. Each donation made on November 29th will be doubled by this special program. Our goal is to raise $7500.00. The USDA requires us to have an inside fencing system encompassed by a perimeter fence.
