Thank you for your interest in becoming part of the Animal Care team at Wolf Run Wildlife Refuge.

Working at Wolf Run is rewarding, but it is also demanding, hands-on work. Our animals depend on us every single day, regardless of rain, heat, cold, weekends, or unexpected emergencies. We are looking for someone who understands that responsibility and is ready to make a genuine commitment.

The right person will be dependable, capable, compassionate, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently. This position involves much more than spending time with animals. Daily responsibilities may include feeding and watering, cleaning habitats, observing animals for changes in health or behavior, assisting with maintenance and repairs, lifting and carrying supplies, and responding when an animal needs immediate attention.

Reliability is essential. When you are scheduled to be here, animals are counting on you.
